Encounter Youth Ministry exists to build up students to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through an encounter with Him.
At Encounter, our purpose is simple: Your Life, Our Mission. We understand that the teenage years are filled with questions and wonder. Our purpose is to come alongside students and their parents, and to help young people discover God’s plan and purpose for their lives.
We know that life can be difficult, but we believe that if you encounter Jesus Christ, your life will never be the same. We have built an environment that no matter who you are, where you come from, or what your background is, you will encounter the Creator of the universe.
At Encounter, we have so many things for you to do and get involved with that it can seem crazy. To get started, we want you to try our Big 3: Wednesday night service, Café, Real Life (small groups).
Jr. High Ministry
Plunge is our Middle School Ministry directed by Pastor David Lomasney Jr and his wife, Carol. If you’re in 6-8th grade, we have a service designed especially for you on Sunday mornings at 10AM in the Chapel. Also, every other month Plunge has events like laser tag, bowling and other fun stuff for every middle school student.
